How to open a new teapot
Step 1: Rinse the teapot inside and out with cold water.
Step 2: Place the lid and body of the pot separately in a pan without any traces of oil, add water that cover the teapot, bring to the boil and keep for ten minutes for the water to cool, remove and leave to dry.
Step 3: Place the lid and body of the pot into a pan without oil and add water to cover the teapot, add a small amount of tea leaves and bring to the boil and keep for half an hour until the water cools down, drench the pot once with boiling water and finish opening the pot.

It is recommended that only one type of tea is brewed in a pot, and that the opening tea is the same type of tea as the subsequent brews.
