Red ginseng

 

Red ginseng, Panax ginseng, has been peeled, heated through

steaming at standard boiling temperatures of 100℃(212℉), and

then dried or sun-dried. It is frequently marinated in an herbal

brew which results in the root becoming brittle.


Effects


Taking red ginseng in a long term can strengthen the body's

immune system, relieve insomnia, prevent hypertension and

arteriosclerosis.


Edible Methods


1. Steam the root until it is soft, cut it into thin slices and dry it,

    then chew the slices.

2. Put 4-5 slices into glass, soaked with boiled water for 3-5 minutes.

3. Stew the slices with meat or chicken.
