Shaihong, or Sun-Dried Red, is a variety of Chinese tea known for its unique production process. Unlike traditional black teas, which are fermented and then dried and roasted in a stove, Shaihong undergoes a special sun drying process that sets it apart from others. This technique gives the tea its distinctive qualities, both in terms of appearance and taste.
We produced a special series of GABA tea based on Shaihong tea leaves, which are pressed into a pancake shape. The pressing is not only facilitates storage, but also helps preserving the taste and aroma of tea for a long period of time. All of that will allow you to enjoy the unique taste of this tea at your leisure.
The taste is a delightful fusion of sweetness and floral notes, coupled with the signature freshness and subtle tanginess inherent to GABA tea.
