Tieguanyin (铁观音), also known as Iron Goddess of Mercy, is a premium variety of oolong tea originating from Anxi County in Fujian Province, China. It is one of the most famous and highly prized Chinese teas, renowned for its complex flavor, floral aroma, and health benefits.

Characteristics of Tieguanyin Tea:

1. 1. Type: Oolong (partially oxidized, between green and black tea).

2. 2. Oxidation Level: Traditionally moderate (20–50%), but modern styles vary.

3. 3. Processing: Involves withering, rolling, oxidation, and roasting (depending on style).

4. 4. Appearance: Tightly rolled leaves that unfurl beautifully when brewed.

   Brewing Method:

   • 1. Water Temperature: 90–95°C (194–203°F)

   • 2. Tea-to-Water Ratio: ~5g per 150ml

   • 3. Steeping Time:

     • First infusion: 20–30 sec

     • Subsequent infusions: Increase by 10–15 sec (can be brewed 5–7 times)
