what is Muyu stone?

      Muyu stone is a kind of precious stone found in China. With its structure characterized by crystalline grain and 

its beautiful vein,Muyu stone is also called by geologists as Wood Grain Jade. It is determined by Chinas National 

Bureau of Geology and Mines that Muyu stone originated from marine deposit during Early Palaeozoic Era about 

500 million to700 million years ago.

From geological petrology, Muyu stone belonging to dolomite with silt, having structure of fine-crystal is marine 

metamorphic rock which is formed through biochemical action.Muyu stone has high iron content most of which is 

Fe2O3. And it also contains a little phosphate, kaolin and almost more than 20 elements such as Mg,Na,Zn,Ca etc, 

most of which are necessary needed by body. Iron content is the important evidence to identify its truth and false of 

the Muyu stone. If the iron content is range 41% to 45%, the Muyu stone is dense limonite but if the iron content is

8.89,Ca, Mg, Al, Fe,Fe, Mn, Cr, B, K and Na can be test in the water by ICP. The water disposed by Muyu stone, 

except B3+, the consistency of all other ion is lowerthan the water disposed by granite, which means the ability for 

absorbing H by the skin of Muyu grain is weaker than granite.
